Bespoke & Beryl ("we", "us", "our") is a fine jewellery studio based in South Africa. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through our website, by email and during the design of bespoke pieces.

We only collect what we need to design beautifully and serve you well:

• Order information — pieces purchased, customisation notes, sizing and inscriptions.
• Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
• Account information — if you create an account, your login details and order history.
• Communication history — messages, design briefs, photographs and inspiration you choose to share with us.
• Website usage — pages visited, device, browser and approximate location, collected via cookies and analytics.

• To design, quote, craft and deliver your pieces.
• To process payments, returns, repairs and resizing.
• To respond to enquiries and provide aftercare.
• To send order updates and, where you've opted in, occasional editorial and new-collection emails.
• To improve our website, services and customer experience.

We process your information on the basis of your consent, to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations and for our legitimate interests in running a careful, considered business.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted partners who help us run the studio — couriers and insured shippers, payment processors, our goldsmiths and stone suppliers, our email and analytics providers, and our accountants. Each partner is bound to handle your information confidentially.

We use a small number of cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand how our site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may not work as intended without them.

We keep order, design and financial records for as long as required by South African tax and consumer-protection law (typically 5–7 years). Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe.
